The Lotus Register Subs and fees are as follows:
If you are a first time member or your membership has lapsed over a period of more than a year, you will be liable to pay a R100.00 joining fee. This covers the administration surrounding your membership. Thereafter the annual subs are R250.00 per year for local members. We do offer “Country Membership” at R150.00 per year.
The subscription is due on 1st January each year. Any member who has not paid by 31st March will be removed from the membership register and should they wish to join again will be liable for full club fees and joining fees. Members joining after the 1st July each year will be liable for the joining fee of R100.00 and a reduced annual subscription for the joining year of R125.00 and R R75.00 for Country members. Thereafter they will be subject to the normal annual subscription fee in the following January.
So if you live in Cape Town or Port Elizabeth, Durban etc and you would like to join the club, you would be eligible to pay the R100.00 joining fee plus the R150.00 country membership. This would be a total of R250.00 initially. There after every year your annual subs would be R150.00
Johannesburg residents or those living in Gauteng province are eligible as “Local Members” and the subs are therefore R250.00 plus the R100.00 if you are joining for the first time.
Joining the Lotus Register will provide you with our Club Magazine, which is in electronic format and is mailed once a month to all members. We have a very active e-mail database amongst the members and communication is excellent between those who wish to sell, buy or gain knowledge about all things Lotus related. The club has preferential insurance agreements with certain organisations and this gets passed on to the members. The website has a classified section and being a member of TLR affords free advertising on TLR classifieds page. Monthly get togethers (Noggins) are held on the third Thursday of every month where the Chairman and the committee addresses those members present. The Sunday after each noggin TLR hosts a breakfast run where members enjoy a run to various places in and around the Johannesburg or Pretoria areas. In addition to the above the TLR has its own race series and membership of TLR affords you with access to compete in the Lotus Challenge.
